SILKSCREEN PRINTS

Hideaki KATO (born 1954) and His father, Yuichiro Kato (born 1926) are wonderful silkscreen artists in Kyoto.
They convey "True Japan", "A Japan which is gentle with spiritual stillness". Each silkscreen print is touched by each artist's feelings. These artists print with few colors which produce a mystical almost magical image . Silkscreen print has different charm from a woodblock print or etching or photograph.
Please enjoy their prints.
