Original Sumi painting by Iwao Akiyama (1921- ). Hand-drawing by Sumi ink. Poem by sumi brushing. Dated 1, 1986  and signed in lower corner in pencil by the artist. Paper size: 13 and 3/4 inches by 17 and 3/4 inches. Excellent condition for it's age. tiny paper crease at the corners. Poem says "Yuki furu, Yama nemuri, Hito nemuri, Mizu ugoku" (Snow is falling, Mountain is sleeping, People are sleeping, Only The Water is trickling in silence)
