"Kyoto Kiyomizu-Dera"(Kiyomizu Temple, Kyoto) by Kawase Hasui (1883-1957). First printed 1933 ( Showa 8 nen); this is a later printing from original blocks. Signed Hasui with red artist seal "Sui". New condition, never framed and full margins. Extremely faint ink smudge on the right margin. Published by Watanabe with 7 mm and Watanabe "Heisei" Seal. Very wonderful "Bokashi" shading through print with finely carved details. Old master quality. Paper size is 10 and 3/8 inches by 15 and 1/2 inches. Very Japanese mood, very soft romantic colors beautiful and delicate. A true classic Hasui print of the highest order.
