"Shinobazuike no Ame"(Rain at Shinobazu Pond) by Kawase Hasui (1883-1957). First printed 1929 ( Showa 4 nen); this is a later printing from original blocks. Signed Hasui with red artist seal "Sui".  Pristine condition, never framed and full margins. Published by Watanabe with 7 mm and Watanabe "Heisei" Seal. Very wonderful "Bokashi" shading through print with finely carved details. Old master quality. Paper size is 10 and 1/4 inches by 15 and 1/2 inches.  Very Japanese mood, very beautiful and delicate.  A true classic Hasui print of the highest order.
