"Bara" (Roses) by Nisaburo Ito (1910-1988).  First printed in about 1950 this is a later printing on "uchida" watermarked paper. Upper left margin is title in Japanese. In lower image is artist's official red seal and publisher's seal. In lower left margin is publisher's copyright stamp. New condition, never framed with excellent colors; Very minor ink smudge in right margin. Absolutely beautiful yellow and red roses will warm any decor. Paper size 17 and 1/4 inches by 11 and 7/8 inches wide.  Nisaburo Ito (1910-1988) was a student of Tsuchida Bakusen at the Kyoto City Specialist School of Painting. This artist made print designs of flowers and scenes from Kyoto.
