"Sanpuku" (Summer) by Katsuyuki Nishijima. First Printed in 1984. In
Japanese "Sanpuku" translates as "The hottest time of the
summer". The Noren cloth says "Misoka-an, Kawamichiya".
"Misoka-an, Kawamichiya" is very famous Japanese noodle restaurant
in Kyoto since Edo period. Pristine condition, never framed. Hand titled in Japanese by artist,
and hand signed. Paper size is 13 and 1/16 inches by 10 and 1/16 inches.
Wonderful details with strong colors. Excellent shading, bold colors and
strong ink bleed through. Genuine handmade Japanese woodblock print. This
is from Japanese artist Katsuyuki Nishijima who was born 1945 in Yamaguchi,
Japan.
