"Murotsu" (Boat at Murotsu Harbor) by Katsuyuki Nishijima. Printed Ca 1990. "Murotsu" is well known as the famous fish village. Pristine condition, never framed. Typical pinpoint size ink spots on the margin which is very common, typical of this artist and will be easily mat out. Hand signed in pencil, hand titled in Japanese and hand numbered by artist, limited edition number 274/500. Width is 17 and 1/4 inches and height is 12 and 1/2 inches. Wonderful details with strong colors. Excellent shading, bold colors and strong ink bleed through. Genuine handmade Japanese woodblock print. This is another limited edition by Katsuyuki Nishijima who was born 1945 in Yamaguchi, Japan. Wonderful contrast. One quiet and peaceful Japanese fishing village scene.
