"Miyako Odori" (Cherry Dance) by Katsuyuki Nishijima (born 1945).
This colorful little print shows a traditional Japanese house with
bright red lantern which says "Miyako Odori" (Cherry Dance).
Paper size is 13 1/8 inches high and just over 10 inches wide. First printed
ca:1978. Hand signed and titled by the artist in pencil. Pristine condition,
never framed. A few very faint ink smudge on the margin and minor
crease at the edge of paper corner. They are very typical and will be easily
mat out. Full margins and bold colors. Strong texture on handmade Japanese
washi paper. Please see pictures. Very impressive print.
