"Ameagari" (After Rain) by Katsuyuki Nishijima. First printed ca:1976. This scene is Kiyamachi street along Takase River in Kyoto.Nishijima's umbrella prints are very attractive and most popular. Pristine condition, never framed. Hand titled in Japanese by artist, and hand signed. Some faint brown spots on the top margin which will be easly mat out. Paper width is 13 inches wide and 10 and 1/8 inches tall. Wonderful details with strong colors. Excellent shading, bold colors and strong ink bleed through.  Genuine handmade Japanese woodblock print.  This is from Japanese artist Katsuyuki Nishijima who was born 1945 in Yamaguchi, Japan. Very Japanese mood.
