"Hanami Kouji" (Hanami Kouji Street, Kyoto)by Katsuyuki Nishijima. Printed 1994. This is typical scene Hanami Kouji Street, Gion Kyoto. Pristine condition, never framed. Slightly toned at the left edge of paper and a few faint brown spots on the top margin corner which are very common and will be easily mat out. Hand signed in pencil, hand titled in Japanese and hand numbered by artist, limited edition number 136/500. Width is 17 and 1/4 inches and height is 12 and 1/2 inches. Wonderful details with strong colors. Excellent shading, bold colors and strong ink bleed through. Genuine handmade Japanese woodblock print. This is another low number limited edition by Katsuyuki Nishijima who was born 1945 in Yamaguchi, Japan.

Nishijima's older limited edition umbrella prints are becoming scarce and difficult to find now.
