"Risshun" (First day of Spring) by Katsuyuki Nishijima. First printed about 1986. In Japan the first day of spring is usually around February 4th. Sign on door reads "Fujiya" which is name of this famous clay doll shop. Noren reads "Fuji" which is their company logo. Pristine condition, never framed. Hand titled in Japanese by artist, and hand signed.  Paper size is 13 inches by 10 and 1/16 inches.  Wonderful details with strong colors. Excellent shading, bold colors and strong ink bleed through. Genuine handmade Japanese woodblock print. This is from Japanese artist Katsuyuki Nishijima who was born 1945 in Yamaguchi, Japan.
