"Sakujitsu" (The First Day of  Month) by Katsuyuki Nishijima. First printed ca:1997. This scene is one street in Gion, Kyoto. This is famous Ochaya "Ichiriki". Noren cloth says "Ichiriki". Pristine condition, never framed. Hand titled in Japanese by artist, and hand signed. Paper width is 13.1 inches wide and 10.1 inches wide. Wonderful details with strong colors. Excellent shading, bold colors and strong ink bleed through. Genuine handmade Japanese woodblock print. This is from Japanese artist Katsuyuki Nishijima who was born 1945 in Yamaguchi, Japan.
