Pencil signed by the artist lower right margin. He is famous for his melancholy
young women usually seen outdoors in the wind. This print is seldom encountered
outside of Japan. Quite rare. Highly detailed carving of indivisual hair
lines. Splendid rendering of Japanese Bigin-ga from the heart. Very gorgeous
print.
|
|
He has won international awards for his children's books
illustrations.
