A rare design original limited edition by Koichi Maeda who was born in Tokyo in 1936.  "Yamafutokoro no Mura" (The Village of Bosom of  Mountain) seldom every seen offered for sale. This is a extra large format Limited Edition 14/80, titled, signed, and dated 2000 in bottom margin in pencil by the artist. Paper size: 24 and 3/8 inches by 18 and 1/2 inches. It is in pristine condition with full margins, bold colors and never framed. Strong texture on thick Japanese washi paper. Bright and lively, full of light and wonderful colors with the precision and details characteristic of this artist. Typical extremely slight ink smudge on the margins which will be easily mat out. They are very common and typical this artist. Please see pictures. Limited edition of only 80 prints. Low number print. Sought after as collector's item rarely offered outside of Japan.
