A rare design original limited edition by Koichi Maeda who was born in Tokyo in 1936. "Asayake no Fuji" (Mt. Fuji of  the Morning Glow) seldom every seen offered for sale.   This is a little smaller format Limited Edition 27/80, titled, signed, and dated '05 in bottom margin in pencil by the artist. Paper size: 18 and 1/4 inches by 13 and 1/2 inches. It is in pristine condition with full margins, bold colors and never framed. Strong texture on thick Japanese washi paper. Bright and lively, full of light and wonderful colors with the precision and details characteristic of this artist. Some typical tiny ink smudge on the margins which are very common and typical of this artist. Limited edition of only 80 prints. Low number print. Sought after as collector's item rarely offered outside of Japan. This truly beautiful handmade print brings tranquility and relaxation into any room.
