"Fuyu Shirakawago"(Shirakawa Village at Winter), only one sheet exist dated 2009.  Paper size is 13 inches wide by 10 inches tall. Red seal reads "Hiro" which is from "Hiroto" Hand titled in Japanese by the artist in pencil, Hand signed in Japanese and dated by the artist in pen. Pristine condition.
His original drawing for his etching is only one sheet exist. From his own collection and never before offered to the public. He drew on very beautful white color Japanese Washi paper, backing paper also beautiful cream Japanese Washi paper. Drawing and his paper show very Japanese mood. He used pen, Sumi ink, colored pencils and watercolors. This drawing is very nostalgic and romantic.

There is something special about the solitude of winter, the contrast of snow aganist the dull manmade world and the empty winter forest, the soft sounds of snow underfoot, the stillness with only the sounds of the blowing wind. A warm fire and hot food awaits in the safty of our home. Families are somehow closer in the winter. After winter the cherry blossoms will surely come and our patience will be rewarded.
