We are very pleased to be able to offer this fine etching by Hiroto Norikane. "Shoji - 10 (Fuji)"
(Shoji Door - 10 - Wisteria), Limited Edition 189/300 and dated 2005.  Paper size is 11 and 1/2 inches wide by 13 and 1/4 inches tall. Large Size. Red seal reads "Hiro" which is from "Hiroto" Hand numbered, titled in Japanese, signed and dated by the artist in pencil. Pristine condition.

"Shoji" is a room divider or door consisting of translucent washi paper over a wooden frame. Shoji doors are often designed to slide open, or fold in half, to conserve space that would be required by a swinging door.The Japanese used Shoji screens for many purposes, including tea ceremonies, concerts, dances, Buddhist rites and outdoor processions.
